Just in from Russia...

This four-panel Icon depicting (clock-wise from the upper left) our Patron St. Matthew the Apostle and Evangelist, the face of Christ Not-Made-By-Hands, the Mother of God of Kazan, and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker has arrived in Baton Rouge.

Beginning Sunday, it will be displayed in the Church for veneration by the faithful.

The work was commissioned by Dr. Mikhail Milchenko, a former communicant of our mission now residing in St. Louis, Missouri. The iconographer is Vladimir Kobzar', a friend of Dr. Milchenko's.

We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to this effort.
